A very big congratulation to the next 2026 Batch of Prospective Corps Members as their mobilization for NYSC has officially kicked off. Some schools like Ambrose Alli University  have just recently released their internal senate list which will be uploaded later and hardcopy sent to NYSC headquarters for verification. Uploading of senate list by your school's SAO (Student Affairs Officer) to NYSC senate list portal will commence afterwards i.e after internal senate lists are released. It has indeed been an amazing service year for the NYSC 2020 Batch A corp members as they are rounding up their service year. All Corp members belonging to this Batch have been looking forward to their Passing Out Parade (POP) in order to fully join the labour market and start making money.  As well know, the NYSC 2020 Batch A were the first set of the National Youth Service Corps to experience the COVID-19 breakout, as such they did not complete their orientation exercise and were all asked to leave camp until further notice.  Finally, a date has been fixed by the NYSC management for the return of corps members who belong to 2020 Batch A. As stated on one of our previous post, this uploaded data is known as the Senate list which shows that a prospective corp member is now eligible to register online when the NYSC portal opens.  NYSC just officially announced on their social media handle that the portal for senate list has been opened and respective institutions can now upload the list of their qualified graduates.  Be aware that if your name is not on the NYSC senate list you cannot register online when the NYSC portal for registration is opened. Most of you reading this post must have come across the term Revalidation and Remobilization in one way or the other and some of you have found yourself confused because of the assumed similarity between these two (2) NYSC terms although they differ greatly in meaning. Most of you Prospective Corp Members might soon come across the NCDC COVID-19 registration test on your various dashboard which you are required to fill and print for the upcoming National Youth Service Corps orientation exercise. If the link is not available yet on your dashboard then don't be worried because NYSC doesn't want you to print it like other batches, this is because the era of COVID-19 is almost over.
