BREAKING NEWS - NYSC Officially Denounce 18th February 2021 As Date For Online Registration

As the internal mobilization by various institutions is still ongoing with more schools releasing their internal Senate list which will be sent to the National Youth Service Corp for upload, the NYSC management has finally cleared the air on the date for online registration of 2021 Batch A PCMs.

It can earlier be recalled that until today, rumours have been making the rounds on various platforms identifying 18th February 2021 as the date for online registration of NYSC 2021 Batch A Prospective Corp Members i.e, the date the NYSC portal will be opened for registration.

The NYSC body has urged all individuals including PCMs from paying attention to such claims or information, clearly stating that this so called date (18th February) is false, the NYSC management further tagged the rumoured date as fake and advised every Prospective Corp Member to disregard this date.

As regards to the rumoured date 18th February, they stated in their official social media platform in quote. "All Prospective Corps members awaiting mobilisation for 2021 Batch 'A' Service Year should note that this message is not from the NYSC. The 2021 Batch 'A' Mobilisation Time Table has not yet been released. PCMs are encouraged to get their information from authentic sources". See screenshot below.

Be also aware that when the mobilization Time-table is out it will be made known to all PCMs and it is usually posted on the NYSC official website: https://www.nysc.gov.ng/mobtable.html

NYSC 2025/2026 Mobilization Update

2025 Batch C Stream 2 will be automatically exempted from the NERD upload requirement , a new development which was announced few months ago. Recall that the Federal Government’s NERD policy was supposed to start on the 6th of October 2025, but the enforcement was put on hold. Later in October 2025, both NERD and NYSC issued circulars confirming that 2025 Batch C (which automatically includes Stream 2) will not be required to obtain the NERD Clearance Slip because their mobilization began before the enforcement date. It was clearly stated in the circular later released that full compliance will only be mandatory for PCMs who are newly mobilized from January/February 2026 onward. NYSC Call Up Letter Printing Date & What To Do Once You Get Your Call Up Letter
