With respect to the viral news that went around at the late hours of yesterday stating that the Federal Government has put in place a phase 4 lockdown as regards to COVID-19 outbreak, a recently released video has showed that the news was barely a rumour and there is no lockdown which was imposed by the FG as claimed. As such there will be no cause at all for postponement of any NYSC camp date. Click here to watch the recently released video on facebook by the FG which clearly debunked the rumours

Prospective corp members belonging to 2021 batch A stream 2 can now relax themselves and still stick to the tentative date scheduled for their orientation camp.

Starting from 2024 Mobilization Exercise, all the eligible Prospective Corps Members are expected to register for Mobilization with their National Identification Numbers (NIN). NYSC introduced the inclusion of the National Identification Number (NIN) in January 2024 as one of the mandatory requirements for online registration. Now many PCMs are not clear about how it works, especially those whose NIN dates of birth differ from their other documents. This simple guide is for you. Your name on NIN must tally with the name on your JAMB Matriculation list . You cannot be John Uche on your NIN and your JAMB Matriculation list name is John Uchechukwu. The names on both of them should correspond and be exactly the same both in name spelling and number of names.
